A comprehensive survey on the cold metal transfer process for additive manufacturing

Abstract Cold metal transfer (CMT) welding has shown significant interest in the research community because of its excellent capabilities. A low heat input associated with CMT process made this technology important for difficult-to-weld stuff like aluminum and alloys dissimilar material joining. Nowadays, primary emphasis been on avoiding negative impact joining order to achieve a longer service life. The aim analysis is recognize parameters that affect additive manufacturing terms by using variants. It observed as an advanced approach gained attraction researchers investigating it which leads advancement renowned wire arc manufacturing, abbreviately called (WAAM) process. Bead width, height, current, voltage are main influenced linear energy density turn, quality fabricated products.
